Overview:

YORK "Elite" Competition Bars are made from the highest grade steel with a minimum yield strength of 195,00 PSI. Competition Bars are made from elevated temperature drawn high tensile steel for maximum strength and flexibility. Bar sleeves are machine finished with needle bearings for reduced friction. Bars are calibrated to be accurate to within +0.01% and -0.05%. Sleeves are machine finished to a precise 1.975 inch diameter accommodating for any 2" diameter Olympic plate. YORK Olympic "Training" bars are made with an exclusive finish from elevated temperature drawn tensile steel for maximum strength and flexibility with a minimum yield strength of 195,000 PSI. Sintered-ferous bushings, impregnated with oil, facilitate free and constant rotation of the bar without allowing counter-rotation of the weights. Sleeves are machine-finished to a precise 1.975 inch diameter. Design for Olympic-style movements.
