Overview

CFF Weighted Short Vest (36 lbs) w/ iron blocks

This vest has a V taper and fully adjustable shoulders to allow for unrestricted breathing as well as freedom to move the arms in the overhead postion. This makes it perfect for doing things such as pull ups, rope climbs and burpees. Comes with iron blocks that allow for complete adjustability in weight in 3 lb increments. Padded shoulders and vest make it comfortable to wear.

First off, I'd like to say I think this is an excellent product.

I can't say I'm an expert regarding weight vests, but I do recognize quality. This vest is made of a heavy nylon with padding sewn in throughout. This greatly enhances comfort. Each of the 4 large pockets holds 3 of the weights. Each large pocket also has seperate pockets within to prevent the weights from slipping around. The weights are rounded off to keep them from snagging the material and they are painted black.

Each strap over the shoulder uses velcro so that it can be adjusted for comfort. This allows the weights to sit higer or lower on your chest per your preference. The strap around the chest also uses velcro. This will attach to velcro on the front and back lower pockets. That strap has 3 adjustment points allowing for a great deal of versatility.

Once adjusted, this vest is very comfortable and secure. I bought it to dedicate to glute ham raises, but I think it could be used for most anything.

Granted, I've only used it for 1 workout, but I have nothing negative to say. Definitely, a good buy!
